Why do people sexually use or abuse children?
There is no simple answer that would explain why some parents or adults hurt children. Most of the time the reason remains complicated but it is possible to talk about some of them:

– Economic and social stress, unemployment, or medical conditions

What is considered child abuse?
Laws may vary but in general child abuse is when a parent or a caregiver, whether through action or failing to act, causes injury, emotional harm, or risk of serious harm to a child.
There are different types of behavior that are considered child abuse or neglect:
